The Vidyāmitra Talent Search Examination (TSE) evaluates reasoning ability and scholastic knowledge through a two-stage process, designed with retired board examiners and benchmarked against NCERT and state syllabi.

What the Talent Search Examination actually tests

The Vidyāmitra Talent Search Examination is conceived, set, and conducted entirely in-house by Vidyāmitra Academy, Jaipur — not licensed out to franchise centres. Every question paper, every answer key, and every rank list is owned by our own examination cell, so the standard stays consistent from the first candidate to the last.

The examination is open to any student in Class 8–12 from any school, sitting either at our Jaipur campus or online from home. The process runs in two stages, moving from a broad screening round to a focused merit round that decides the final All-India rank, scholarship slab, and certification tier.

Any student currently enrolled in Class 8 to Class 12 at a recognised school is eligible to appear for Stage I — there's no minimum school-marks cutoff.

₹200 for online registration and ₹200 by demand draft for offline registration. Fee once paid is non-refundable but transferable to the next cycle on request.

Yes — the online mode is remote-proctored with webcam and tab-switch monitoring, available to students anywhere in India. Offline candidates sit the exam at our own Jaipur campus.

Scholarship amounts are credited directly to the candidate's school fee account in instalments, tracked on your candidate dashboard — no separate application is required.

No negative marking in Stage I. Stage II carries 0.25 negative marking per wrong answer, clearly stated on the admit card and instruction sheet.
